About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop Material & Logistics Leads and oversee Material Inventory Specialists and temporary resources across assigned projects
  • Establish consistent processes for receiving, inventory control, staging, kitting, distribution, QA Hold, returns/RMAs, field handoffs, and material reconciliation
  • Review site EOD reports, inventory accuracy, kit completion, receiving volume, issue aging, shortages, labor hours, overtime, equipment utilization, and on-time material handoffs
  • Conduct site reviews and audits covering safety, 5S, inventory-system discipline, material custody, storage standards, and SOP adherence
  • Forecast 2-, 4-, and 6-week regional staffing, material, equipment, vehicle, storage, and mobilization requirements
  • Coordinate resource movement between sites while protecting project priorities, labor efficiency, and continuity of operations
  • Support mobilization of new sites, including logistics footprint, receiving flow, storage, security, equipment, staffing, systems, reporting, and training readiness
  • Partner with Project Managers, Program Managers, Procurement, OFCI stakeholders, field leadership, vendors, and client representatives to resolve constraints
  • Escalate material issues with factual status, operational impact, owner, next action, required decision, and target resolution date
  • Identify regional trends and root causes; implement corrective actions, standard work, lessons learned, and continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Support workforce planning, performance evaluations, coaching, succession planning, hiring recommendations, and proficiency validation
  • Monitor regional logistics cost drivers and recommend efficiency improvements
  • Prepare regional performance updates, risk forecasts, and recommendations for Program and project leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, material management, warehouse operations, construction logistics, or related operations
  • Data center or low-voltage/network cabling experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading supervisors or multiple teams/sites in a fast-paced construction, distribution, or mission-critical environment
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, receiving, material staging, kitting, cycle counting, discrepancy reconciliation, chain of custody, and field distribution
  • Working knowledge of BOMs, material requests, part/FBPN controls, OFCI/CFCI material flows, procurement coordination, and schedule-driven material planning
  • Ability to analyze KPIs, labor/resource requirements, operational risks, and trends and convert findings into actionable plans
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and inventory/project tracking systems
  • Ability to learn and govern TrackVia or equivalent systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication, coaching, conflict-resolution, organization, and executive-facing presentation skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively to assigned projects
  • Frequent regional travel and periodic national travel may be required based on project needs
  • Ability to work in active construction, warehouse, outdoor, and data-center environments and comply with project PPE and safety requirements
  • Ability to walk active sites, inspect storage/receiving areas, and periodically lift or assist with material within applicable safety limits
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent substantial industry experience may be considered
  • OSHA-30 or ability to obtain within an established onboarding period
  • Lean / Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CAPM/PMP, BICSI, or comparable industry credentials are beneficial but not required unless designated by LINX
  • Experience with data-center construction, hyperscale programs, multi-site mobilization, forecasting, Power BI/data visualization, and performance management preferred
