About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform
- Define the long-term Salesforce architecture strategy, platform roadmap, and technical standards
- Evaluate business requirements and select native Salesforce capabilities, configuration, automation, custom development, or third-party solutions
- Design scalable data models and automated workflows for complex, high-volume, document-centric operations
- Establish integration architecture between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and event-driven solutions
- Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural oversight for custom object modeling, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Define and enforce platform governance, security architecture, code review, testing, release management, documentation, and deployment standards
- Monitor platform performance, capacity, health, and Salesforce limits
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities and address technical debt and legacy customizations
- Mentor technical teams in architecture principles, development standards, and platform best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6–10 years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect role focused on cloud development
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect credential strongly preferred
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification is a plus
- Experience architecting solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform
- Experience designing scalable Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and related integration technologies
- Experience establishing Salesforce development, testing, deployment, release-management, and platform-governance standards using Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX
- Experience designing data-intensive and document-centric workflows involving automated document generation, optical character recognition, electronic signatures, storage, and secure information sharing
- Experience evaluating technical debt, modernizing legacy solutions, and designing secure, maintainable architecture
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and partnering with product owners, business analysts, developers, administrators, and enterprise technology teams
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, platform limits, security and sharing models, identity and access management, multi-org environments, and integration patterns
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Salesforce Flow, Agentforce, Einstein AI, and Salesforce APIs, including REST and SOAP services
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to explain complex architectural concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time
