About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop production-ready software, AI, and automation solutions from initial concept through go-live
Design and implement intelligent applications, AI agents, and assistant systems based on modern Large Language Models (LLMs)
Develop robust backend services, APIs, and frontends
Integrate internal and external systems and data sources
Analyze business processes and identify automation and digitalization opportunities in collaboration with business departments
Transition prototypes and proofs of concept into production use
Further develop production applications used by employees every day
Combine professional software engineering with modern AI technologies to deliver scalable solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional software development experience with TypeScript
Experience with modern software architectures and the development of backend services and APIs
Practical experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or LangGraph
Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search
Experience with system integrations and the development of production applications
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, testing, Docker, and cloud technologies
Structured, independent approach to work, a strong sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for technical challenges as well as automation and digitalization opportunities
German and English at least at B2 level
A plus: Knowledge of machine learning, such as model training, classification, or forecasting
A plus: Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or the Power Platform
A plus: Experience with ERP, CRM, PIM, or e-commerce systems, particularly SAP
A plus: Experience with process automation and workflow orchestration
