About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, recruit, hire, train, and develop Field Clinical Specialists
- Lead, coach, and develop the FCS team while ensuring high-quality clinical education and support
- Establish performance expectations, provide feedback, and support career growth
- Foster patient safety, accountability, and continuous learning
- Ensure onboarding, ongoing training, and credentialing of FCS team members
- Manage scheduling for titration/programming visit coverage
- Partner with Sales to support and optimize the patient journey
- Oversee clinical training and technical support for healthcare professionals and patients
- Monitor field execution, including therapy training, device programming support, and patient education
- Identify field performance trends and implement improvements
- Ensure regulatory, legal, company compliance, documentation, adverse event reporting, and device safety adherence
- Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams on field issues and continuous improvement
- Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Engineering, Quality, and Legal
- Translate field insights into feedback for product development, training programs, and clinical strategies
- Support clinical trials and product launches through field execution and training alignment
- Build relationships with physicians, surgeons, and sleep lab personnel
- Support strategic accounts and elevate complex clinical situations
- Provide clinical and technical support during overnight polysomnography tests as needed
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support to clinical sites
- Manage team deployment, territory coverage, and resource allocation
- Track and analyze field activity metrics, training effectiveness, and team performance
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of field activities and business insights
- Represent LivaNova’s values and promote professionalism, integrity, and patient-centricity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in nursing, STEM, life sciences, sleep medicine or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years working with patients in a clinical setting
- 3 years in a management role
- Experience in neuromodulation, bio-engineering, nursing, or sleep medicine
- Preferred – RPGST certification
- Ability to manage and develop a high-performance field-based team
- Empathy and understanding of the field sales force
- High degree of job ownership and business sense of urgency
- Project management skills
- Works well within teams both cross-functionally and teams that may or may be not located within a specific building or geography
- Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical thinking and problem resolution skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft computer software applications
- Ability to meet medical facility credentialing requirements
- Repetitive use of computer
- Ability to travel 35–65%
