About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build end-to-end features using TypeScript and Python
- Translate product requirements into reliable, well-tested production systems
- Define and implement integrations with LiveEO’s platform and data services
- Ensure clean interfaces, reliable data flows, and future extensibility
- Collaborate across teams on shared components, architecture, APIs, and engineering standards
- Own architectural decisions including service boundaries, data models, and deployment patterns
- Incorporate feedback from product, customers, and stakeholders
- Mentor teammates, review code, and shape technical direction
- Champion code quality, documentation, testing, and observability
- Develop backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong engineering fundamentals in TypeScript and Python
- Several years of experience building and shipping full stack applications in production
- Experience with backend services, APIs, and modern frontend interfaces
- Proven ability to own features end to end and deliver reliably
- Experience designing and implementing integrations between systems, including APIs, data pipelines, and third-party services
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience deploying and operating scalable services
- Solid understanding of software architecture and system design
- Experience making pragmatic technical trade-offs
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Experience aligning with multiple stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers or setting technical direction within a team
