About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a team of 4–6 data analysts and senior data analysts
  • Set team goals, provide feedback, conduct performance and career development conversations, and hire new team members
  • Own delivery across the team's portfolio by allocating analysts, setting priorities and timelines, and ensuring quality and client-readiness
  • Personally lead analyses on complex, ambiguous, or strategically important customer engagements
  • Review methodology and interpretation for other analyses
  • Build analytics systems, templates, and reusable analysis libraries
  • Establish and enforce standards for analytical rigor, peer review, documentation, and reproducibility
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for customer stakeholders
  • Shape requirements, present findings, handle escalations, and build relationships with analytics and marketing leaders
  • Translate customer insights into product direction with Product and Engineering
  • Contribute to the measurement roadmap and new analytical offerings
  • Drive AI adoption across team workflows and develop measurement-data analysis tools
  • Support and understand LiveRamp's measurement products and methodologies
  • Translate client measurement needs into product improvements
  • Design and develop dashboards using data visualization tools for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in analytics or data science
  • 2+ years leading analysts as a people manager or team/project lead with ownership of others' work and development
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field
  • Deep expertise in advertising measurement and attribution
  • AdTech industry experience required
  • Familiarity with the TV industry is a plus
  • Ability to independently build analyses in SQL, Python, Excel, and statistical methods
  • Ability to review analytical methodology and identify errors
  • Experience creating and presenting data-driven dashboards and presentations
  • Hands-on experience with Metabase, Tableau, and/or Looker
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing environments
  • Experience presenting complex analyses to large non-technical audiences and adapting to technical audiences
  • Experience handling client escalations with credibility
  • Experience managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent customer projects and multiple analysts
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology, including AI solutions
  • Willingness and ability to bring a team along with new technology adoption
  • Self-starter with energy, passion, and creativity
