Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Right to work in New Zealand
  • Affinity with animals
  • Good communication skills
  • Connection or interest in the dairy sector, with a customer focus
  • Basic computer literacy, including operating a smartphone and iPad
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate recording of breeding information
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Minimum height of 160cm
  • Meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Pass pre-employment background checks
  • Complete and pass the two-week basic training course
  • Submit and pass four national unit standards administered by Primary ITO during the apprenticeship
  • Training cost of $989.00 plus GST required before training commences
