About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Dismantle vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner
Label and tag parts to be placed into stock
Check the quality and product type of the parts
Assume other duties as assigned
Work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and in awkward positions
Handle frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust
Perform duties involving standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have hands-on automotive repair experience
May be required to have own set of tools as needed to carry out duties
Automotive Experience a plus
Must own and maintain all the tools necessary
Basic computer skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Basic messages communicated orally; may write brief messages and keep simple records
Ability to follow clear directions and procedures
Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
May be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment, extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels
May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays, contingent on position requirements
