Dismantle vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner
Label and tag parts to be placed into stock
Check the quality and product type of the parts
Maintain all tools necessary to carry out duties
Assume other duties as assigned
Follow standard procedures and supervisor/manager guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have hands-on automotive repair experience
Automotive Experience a plus
Must have your own tools / may be required to have own set of tools as needed to carry out duties
Basic computer skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Basic messages communicated orally; may write brief messages and keep simple records
Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and get into awkward positions
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
May be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment
May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels
Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust
Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays, contingent on position requirements
