About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Dismantle vehicles within suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner
Label and tag parts to be placed into stock
Check the quality and product type of parts
Assume other duties as assigned
Follow clear directions, standard procedures, and supervisor/manager guidance
Work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, first shift

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have hands-on automotive repair experience
May be required to have own set of tools as needed to carry out duties
Must own and maintain all the tools necessary
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Basic computer skills
Basic messages communicated orally; may write brief messages and keep simple records
Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
Must be able to work around hazardous situations, conditions, equipment, contaminants, extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels
High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
Periodic travel may be required, including overnight stays, contingent on position requirements
