About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of Corporate Real Estate loans
- Support long-dated commercial real estate lending under a servicing contract with Scottish Widows
- Work with Lender, Coverage, Execution and Credit Risk teams and external advisers
- Maintain strong portfolio performance and manage risk
- Deliver clear, accurate reporting
- Build relationships with private businesses, family offices and FTSE 250 listed companies
- Support loan lifecycle events including consent requests, waivers, amendments and annual reviews
- Contribute to credit paper preparation
- Perform financial analysis and monitor emerging risks
- Support smooth deal delivery with internal teams and external advisers
- Engage directly with clients on loan- and risk-related matters
- Use analytical skills to enhance portfolio insight
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two years’ demonstrated credit experience including financial analysis and credit risk assessment within Corporate Banking
- Experience preparing or contributing to credit papers
- Familiarity with LMA documentation
- Experience supporting complex loan lifecycle events, such as waivers, amendments and renewals
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel capability
- Financial modelling capability
- Confident communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients and senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high quality service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Relevant transferable experience is accepted
