About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps engineers and domain experts to deliver security solutions
- Convert internal customer and stakeholder business problems into data science solutions
- Integrate solutions into existing systems and processes through MLOps and model explainability
- Build and maintain traditional machine learning and agentic systems
- Develop domain knowledge in security
- Demonstrate data science concepts through demonstrations and show-and-tells
- Participate in team ceremonies, planning, prioritisation and goal setting
- Escalate impediments and manage external dependencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience delivering data science or analytics projects from problem definition through implementation, with measurable business impact
- Solid understanding of machine learning and underlying statistics
- Knowledge of foundational model systems and frameworks/best practices for building agents
- Experience using Python and data science libraries including pandas, scikit-learn and NumPy
- Experience with data visualisation frameworks
- Strong SQL skills querying and transforming large datasets
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar big data warehouses preferred
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and structured approach to data-driven solutions
- Effective communication of technical concepts and analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Curiosity and innovation focus with commitment to staying current with industry developments
