About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyse customer, operational, regulatory and commercial data from multiple sources to identify themes, risks, customer harms and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare insight and recommendations for senior meetings to support decision making
  • Support governance and oversight of products throughout their lifecycle
  • Develop practical and sustainable solutions collaboratively across teams
  • Assess regulatory developments, industry changes and market trends
  • Recommend and support implementation of appropriate business responses
  • Lead reviews of customer communications, product literature and customer outcome assessments
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to deliver product, customer and business outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement activity
  • Identify shortcomings in business practices and recommend improvements to controls, processes and ways of working
  • Contribute to proposition reviews, regulatory change programmes and business transformation activities
  • Use risk management frameworks and controls to safeguard against customer, regulatory and operational risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven product management experience, ideally within pensions, financial services or another regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of Consumer Duty principles and their application to product governance, customer outcomes and decision making
  • Knowledge of SIPP pension products would be an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret multi-source data, identify key themes, and turn insights into actions and recommendations for senior audiences
  • Experience assessing customer outcomes and identifying potential customer harms under Consumer Duty principles
  • Experience using data evidence to design customer and business improvements through appropriate controls
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with business teams, suppliers and external partners
  • Confidence producing high-quality reports, papers and recommendations
