About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a defined portfolio of SME client relationships within the Real Estate sector
  • Deliver an excellent client experience while identifying opportunities to grow income, balance sheet and market share
  • Work in partnership with the Client Relationship Team and build internal and external networks
  • Manage existing clients, prospects and introducers, including preparation and follow-up
  • Grow income, balance sheet and client numbers while managing associated risks
  • Identify client needs and develop client strategies, leveraging product, coverage and support teams
  • Undertake lending assessments and implement appropriate client solutions
  • Respond to client lending needs that cannot be fulfilled by the Client Relationship Team
  • Balance risk and reward while ensuring lending and contingent liabilities meet Bank requirements
  • Act as the go-to banker in the geographic area and maintain a high profile with external influencers and the local business community
  • Partner with pooled support in the Client Relationship Team
  • Promote the Bank’s image and work with Business Development, Product Partners and others to develop new business
  • Ensure activities comply with internal and external policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Highly proficient at building and maintaining positive relationships with external professionals
  • Specialist credit and real estate sector knowledge
  • At least 3 years of proven experience
  • Track record delivering excellent client experiences
  • Experience winning new clients, growing business and delivering results
  • Ability to undertake lending assessments and implement appropriate client solutions
  • Ability to ensure lending and contingent liabilities meet asset quality and policy requirements
  • Ability to comply with internal and external policies, credit, asset quality, standards, reporting, legal, statutory and regulatory requirements
