About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage contracts for a portfolio of Corporate & Institutional Bank suppliers
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier management process, including sourcing, onboarding, ongoing management and contract renewal
  • Manage supplier relationships in line with business risk appetite
  • Lead sourcing and procurement activities to generate the best outcomes for clients and customers
  • Support business users in onboarding new third-party suppliers while maintaining compliance with Group policies
  • Drive value from suppliers and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Lead meetings between suppliers and business users to foster collaboration and positive outcomes
  • Manage supplier-related risk events
  • Drive effective spend management, strong commercial outcomes and customer results
  • Act as a trusted source of professional expertise and advice for colleagues and key partners
  • Lead personal development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing a portfolio of suppliers, driving performance, managing risk, and delivering strong commercial and customer outcomes
  • Experience leading sourcing and procurement activities, contract negotiations, and supplier renewals to achieve value for the business
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-making across business areas, supplier owners and third-party suppliers
  • Ability to analyse supplier, spend and performance data to find opportunities, risks and actions that improve business outcomes
  • Knowledge of commercial banking, supplier management, procurement or third-party risk management within a regulated environment would be very beneficial
  • Ability to work at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of the employer’s offices
