About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create a warm and welcoming member experience while accurately processing a high volume of transactions
  • Promote member retention through proactive engagement and relationship building
  • Identify member needs and provide information about products and services aligned with financial goals
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service
  • Resolve conflicts and de-escalate adverse situations
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, check ordering, and wire requests
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily
  • Apply risk management, fraud prevention, and security practices
  • Ensure compliance with LMCU policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote LMCU products and services and refer members to appropriate solutions
  • Contribute to branch referral and service targets
  • Maintain knowledge of LMCU products, services, policies, systems, operations, and technology
  • Educate members about LMCU digital platforms and emerging technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
  • Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products and services preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college coursework or banking experience is a plus
  • Must be available to work Saturdays on a rotational basis
  • Travel more than 50% within assigned region
  • Ability to accurately process a high volume of transactions
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention guidelines and robbery procedures
  • Ability to comply with LMCU policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
