About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, test, security scanning, and deployment
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure across development, test, and production environments
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot deployment configurations using Helm and Kubernetes manifests
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Helm releases through Rancher Fleet and Palantir Apollo, including database migration jobs
  • Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, configuration, container, and deployment issues
  • Support incident response, rollback, recovery, and root-cause analysis
  • Manage application configuration, secrets, certificates, and deployment dependencies
  • Collaborate with developers and cybersecurity engineers to improve reliability, security, and delivery workflows
  • Maintain deployment documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support SHEPRD releases and operational events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related roles
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Rancher
  • Experience scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, TLS, and application connectivity
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
  • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance; only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Occasional CONUS travel required, up to 25%
