About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Project Management Teams in the development, review, and updates of project and program budgets, forecasts, EACs, reporting, and analysis
- Facilitate contract kick-off meetings and support CostPoint project setup, billing, accounting, and contractual financial obligations
- Set up and maintain CostPoint project workforce and track labor charges, personnel ceilings, budgets, and personnel spend
- Monitor and review project and program expenditures and resolve discrepancies or miscoding
- Review, monitor, and report project financial performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions
- Manage subcontractor/vendor cost lifecycle, including Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, invoices, payments, and accruals
- Track program risks and challenges and ensure mitigation activities are in place
- Prepare or support client status reports, integrated program reviews, and ad-hoc financial requests
- Review and approve client invoices and resolve unbilled charges
- Monitor, track, and forecast labor and non-labor project spend and manage T&M labor category ceilings
- Collaborate on price proposals and cost estimates, including pricing assumptions and basis of estimates
- Support federal agency and internal/external audits
- Support development or enhancement of project control processes, procedures, and systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of Project Control experience supporting projects and programs for a Government Contractor including FFP, T&M, and Cost Plus Award Fee contract types
- At least 5 years of experience in a Project/Program Control role for a government contractor
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with FFP OTA preferred
- Experience managing Program Control teams
- Deltek Costpoint experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organization
- Strong organization skills and focus on accuracy and consistency
- Strong analytical and problem solving
- Strong MS Excel skills required
- Active Top Secret Clearance
