About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead media strategy development for enterprise and multi-location clients
  • Size total addressable markets, build audience cohort profiles, and map media consumption habits
  • Build and maintain client playbooks documenting strategic approach, channel mix, budget allocation logic, and testing priorities
  • Design structured testing frameworks such as TELO (Test, Evaluate, Learn, Optimize)
  • Recommend channel and budget allocations across paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, and video
  • Translate market research, consumer behavior data, and competitive analysis into strategic direction
  • Present media strategies and performance narratives directly to clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategy with execution and broader marketing objectives
  • Monitor emerging media consumption and digital advertising trends
  • Contribute to shared standards, templates, and best practices
  • Manage hands-on SEM execution across Google and Microsoft Ads
  • Own SEM account architecture, bid strategy, keywords, and match types
  • Optimize bidding, targeting, ad copy, and account structure
  • Manage SEM budgets, pacing, and spend reallocation
  • Report on SEM metrics and present paid search audits
  • Help refine SEM standard operating procedures and identify automation opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-7+ years of experience spanning media strategy and planning and hands-on paid search management, ideally with enterprise or multi-location clients
  • Demonstrated ability to size total addressable markets, build audience and cohort profiles, and craft compelling narratives that translate research and consumer data into media strategy
  • Experience building client-facing strategic deliverables such as playbooks, testing frameworks, and channel or budget recommendations
  • Fluency in core performance metrics (CPA/CPL, ROAS, CAC, CVR, impression share, lost impression share)
  • Deep command of SEM fundamentals: keyword strategy, match types, auction dynamics, Smart Bidding, and search term analysis
  • Experience with GTM, conversion tracking, and data feed management
  • Holistic understanding of the digital advertising landscape and current media consumption trends
  • Confident, polished presentation skills for client and executive stakeholders
  • Proactive ownership and account-first mindset
  • Comfortable setting strategic direction and performing in-platform work
  • Highly organized with strong QA discipline and documentation habits
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to help junior practitioners grow
