About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop robust backend solutions using Python 3
- Evolve and enhance the application architecture
- Perform refactoring to reduce technical debt
- Translate product demands into functional requirements and business rules
- Apply software engineering best practices
- Participate in decisions related to the platform’s technological evolution
- Define and promote architectural standards
- Conduct code reviews and support the quality of the team’s codebase
- Track and promote software quality metrics
- Apply Clean Code principles
- Ensure automated test coverage
- Implement and evolve observability, logging, and monitoring practices
- Address vulnerabilities and meet quality gates
- Provide technical support to the Tech Lead in team decisions and direction
- Participate in technical refinement sessions and solution definition
- Promote continuous improvement of the team’s processes, practices, and technical quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification
- Experience developing with Python 3
- Knowledge of networking and telecommunications
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure and distributed environments
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB), including data modeling
- Familiarity with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools and observability and tracing solutions
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Experience developing with Java and/or .NET is a plus
- Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools, such as Splunk or similar solutions, is preferred
