About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive legal representation across foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and related matters
- Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings
- Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence
- Attend court hearings in person and virtually
- Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff
- Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice
- Work collaboratively with experienced attorneys and an operational team under a managing attorney
- Develop a well-rounded legal skill set
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed in Indiana (required)
- 0–3+ years of experience; all qualified applicants considered
- Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
- Multi-state licensure, particularly Kentucky or Ohio, is a plus
- Litigation, bankruptcy, or collections experience is a bonus
- Federal licensure is a bonus
- Ability to travel locally for court-related matters
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to remain focused for extended periods
- Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
- Ability to perform repetitive movements such as typing, clicking, and swiveling
- Ability to multitask
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete the I-9 form and provide documentation of identity and work eligibility
