About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive legal representation across foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and related matters
  • Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Attend court hearings in person and virtually
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice
  • Work collaboratively with experienced attorneys and a skilled operational team under the guidance of a managing attorney
  • Travel locally for court-related matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed in Kentucky (required)
  • 2-5+ years of experience; all qualified applicants considered
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
  • Multi-state licensure, especially Indiana/Ohio, preferred
  • Licensure to practice in Bankruptcy court
  • Litigation, bankruptcy or collections experience
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required, including typing, clicking, and swiveling
  • Ability to multi-task
