About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write scripts for short-form learning, edutainment, and digital video content.
- Develop strong hooks, narrative flow, information structure, pacing, and CTAs.
- Simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, and conversational content.
- Create content across Finance, Career, Business, English, AI, Social Media, and Government categories.
- Develop episodic formats, content series, and recurring content properties.
- Conduct research and fact-check information before scripting.
- Adapt scripts based on audience insights, language, trends, and content performance.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure scripts are production-friendly.
- Use AI tools for research, ideation, drafting, and content refinement while maintaining originality and accuracy.
- Create content focused on viewer retention, understanding, and continued watching.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in short-form video writing, digital media, YouTube, Reels, edutainment, or creator-led content.
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention, pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Strong research, fact-checking, and information-simplification skills.
- Ability to write conversational and engaging scripts rather than traditional articles/blogs.
- Native or strong proficiency in Kannada Language.
- Good understanding of how written scripts translate into visual/video storytelling.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content research, ideation, and refinement.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ownership.
