About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee governance of partnership and license agreements and manage contractual obligations
- Implement and support committees, set meeting agendas, ensure meeting preparedness, and support clear objectives
- Track and ensure efficient progress toward agreed goals
- Increase alignment, mutual understanding, and trust between collaboration participants
- Cultivate relationships that support collaboration performance and manage internal and external communications
- Identify value drivers and key risks, maintain strategic focus, mitigate risks, and accelerate value creation
- Anticipate project-stage or participant changes and manage transitions smoothly
- Serve as the partnership’s memory
- Facilitate complex partner discussions and map a way forward during unanticipated situations or corporate changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in the field of Life Sciences or equivalent
- 5-10 years relevant work experience (Life Science, CDMO, Biotech, Pharma)
- 2 years experience with licensing agreements
- Ability to navigate complex licensing contracts and technical information
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously
- English Business Fluent
- Ability to travel to visit clients (globally) and Lonza facilities (mainly within Europe)
- Strong relationship management and commercial acumen
- Skilled in structured problem-solving and escalation management
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfort working cross-functionally and internationally
- Ability to represent Lonza credibly with senior external stakeholders
