About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, test and implement operational solutions based on the physical layout of the site and visual management tools
- Optimize the internal WMS through intuitive, cost-efficient processes
- Detect and drive improvements in logistics KPIs such as productivity and service level
- Reengineer and audit end-to-end inbound and outbound processes
- Manage and improve returns processes
- Challenge inefficiencies and downtime
- Quantify the operational cost of logistics activities
- Assess the profitability and cost-efficiency impact of improvement proposals before and after implementation
- Train warehouse teams and explain the rationale behind operational changes
- Ensure operational standards are understood, implemented daily and generate value
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related engineering field is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in workflow optimisation methodologies, including Lean Logistics, 5S, Visual Management and line balancing
- Strong financial mindset focused on reducing operational costs
- Ability to think abstractly to redesign workflows without relying exclusively on software-based solutions
- Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal
- At least 3 years’ experience in process engineering, continuous improvement or similar roles within supply chain and operations
- Previous experience managing complex reverse logistics (returns) operations in the retail or fashion sector highly valued
- Highly critical, non-conformist and data-driven mindset
- Extremely practical, hands-on approach
- Clear communication skills to implement processes on the shop floor and lead change alongside operators
