About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape day-to-day and milestone employee and merchant experiences
  • Plan and execute internal events, the annual all-company meeting, customer summit, team offsites, and hub-market gatherings
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venues, vendors, travel, accommodations, onsite execution, and post-event wrap-up
  • Align event programming with company goals, culture initiatives, and employee experience priorities
  • Support employee engagement events in hub markets including Chicago, Toronto, and London
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, and expense tracking
  • Plan communications, materials, onsite flow, follow-up, and feedback surveys
  • Create an engaging, productive, and fun Columbus office community
  • Manage office access, keys, parking passes, safety, and security
  • Coordinate 15+ annual team onsites for visiting remote employees
  • Liaise with hotels and manage food and beverage orders and reservations
  • Manage office and kitchen supply inventory
  • Partner with building management on maintenance and safety compliance
  • Maintain office cleanliness and external cleaning vendor
  • Organize and triage physical mail

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Full-time role for someone local to the Columbus, OH metro area
  • Able to reliably be in the office 3 days per week from 9 AM–5 PM, with flexibility for in-office and offsite events
  • Reliably provide own transportation to and from the office for off-site post office and supply pick-ups as needed
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Experience overseeing customer and/or employee event planning, employee engagement strategy, or related experiential marketing and brand events is ideally preferred
  • Experience fostering connection and community within distributed employee populations
  • Examples of creating exceptional stakeholder relationships
