About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand client objectives and translate them into metrics, KPIs, and data requirements.
Develop reports and dashboards in Looqbox using Python and SQL, ensuring standardization and performance.
Implement and manage AI Agents focused on data.
Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses (cohorts, funnels, segmentation, performance variations, and root-cause analysis).
Create and maintain the semantic metrics layer (definitions, business rules, and dimensions), along with its documentation.
Prepare clear, actionable visualizations and recommendations using data storytelling.
Monitor tool adoption and customer health through key indicators; suggest product and usage improvements.
Troubleshoot and research solutions to data, query, and performance issues.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and client stakeholders; attend meetings as needed.
Promote data visualization best practices and report standardization.
Support basic experimentation (A/B tests, hypothesis testing, and interpretation of results).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, and notebooks) and SQL (queries and basic optimization).
Technical autonomy consistent with a junior or mid-level professional.
Good programming practices: version control, documentation, and refactoring.
Descriptive statistics and basic inferential concepts (distributions, confidence intervals, and basic hypothesis testing).
Data visualization and storytelling (best-practice principles and clear communication).
Intermediate English proficiency.
Ability to translate business questions into analyses and assess risks and alternatives.
Experience serving as a client or consulting point of contact.
Code/query optimization and analytics modeling (dimensional modeling and semantic layers).
Knowledge of the industries served (retail, shopping centers, pharmaceuticals, and construction) and their domain metrics.
Experience creating and maintaining data pipelines.
Experience with orchestration/ETL tools (Airflow) and version control (Git).
Experience with non-relational databases.
Experience with AI tools.
