About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own Lottie's analytics function end to end, including strategy and the analytics stack
Maintain and improve Dataform, BigQuery, Fivetran, Hex, and Metabase
Serve as the go-to person for data across the business
Join trading meetings and translate business context into data priorities
Turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for the C-level and board
Align commercial, product, and finance stakeholders on priorities
Build analytical models for marketplace supply and demand and care matching
Establish analytics ways of working, data quality standards, and a culture of curiosity
Champion AI-powered workflows and enable self-service data analytics
Model supply and demand to optimize matching, pricing, and provider acquisition
Build data products supporting partner decision-making
Analyze product interactions, run experiments, and communicate the value proposition
Partner with commercial and finance teams on growth, partner acquisition funnel optimization, and board reporting
Improve data-informed decision-making across Lottie

Requirements

What you’ll need

Around 8+ years' experience in analytics
Experience thriving in a fast-moving startup in a senior position
Experience in a data-rich business where data is make-or-break
Ability to balance shipping insights quickly with building something that scales
Strong individual contributor who can also lead
Ability to set the direction for how the analytics function grows
Strong analytical thinking and ability to quickly understand a business
Ability to communicate complex analysis simply and align stakeholders
Confidence pushing back, challenging assumptions, and making recommendations
Hands-on technical skills building and maintaining data pipelines end to end
Experience using agents to write SQL
Daily use of AI coding assistants or equivalent AI tooling
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
