About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work directly with executives on pricing, investment and product decisions, owning the analysis behind them
Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Operations and Finance to identify performance drivers and help teams act on them
Support leadership with annual planning, budgets and forecasts
Own financial models and act as the primary numbers contact for investors
Take analysis through to delivery, managing initiatives like a PM
Use SQL, Python and AI to build tools and processes from first principles
Build and maintain financial models for planning, scenario testing and decision-making
Analyze growth channels and identify opportunities to scale successful ones
Analyze pricing, packaging, margins and unit economics
Produce investor-ready models, metrics and reporting
Identify, evaluate and understand strategic acquisitions
Explain why metrics are changing and recommend actions
Report to the Head of Analytics and work closely with the Co-Founder & CEO

Requirements

What you’ll need

Understand and interpret financial statements, including the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement
Write SQL independently
Work in Git
Comfortable using Python
Build financial models from scratch
Use AI tools such as Claude to query data, build models and move faster
Commercial understanding of how a business makes money
Interest in budgets, forecasts and investor models
Think from first principles
Retrieve and analyze data independently and present clear recommendations to founders and leadership
Comfortable working closely with a founder and challenging upward
Builder mindset; able to run topics like a PM and deliver change across the business
Technical interviews covering SQL, Python and financial modelling
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
