About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the client's SAP BW environment providing reporting across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and planning
Baseline reports and data in the current environment and reconcile them after migration
Fix extractors and process chains that break and ensure daily loads run reliably
Design, build, and support BW data models including InfoObjects, DSOs/ADSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, and transformations
Build and maintain ECC and APO extractors, including delta handling and process chain scheduling
Develop and support BEx queries, Analysis for Office workbooks, and SAP Analytics Cloud or BusinessObjects content
Build and maintain analysis authorizations enforcing need-to-know and export-control restrictions
Monitor and tune data loads, resolve failures, and manage performance of large models
Lead transition of the process area into the client's target environment through knowledge transfer, documentation, configuration and data validation, and end-to-end interface confirmation
Establish steady-state support processes, write runbooks and knowledge-transfer documentation, and transition the area to defined SLAs
Collaborate daily with distributed CGI and client teams across regions and time zones and with third-party vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of SAP BW experience (7.x on HANA preferred), with at least one full lifecycle implementation
Strong data modeling skills and hands-on experience with ECC standard and custom extractors
Experience with BEx, Analysis for Office, and at least one of SAC or BusinessObjects
Hands-on experience designing analysis authorizations and working with the security team
Working knowledge of SAP source modules whose data is modeled (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and APO planning data
Experience on an M&A integration, carve out, or application transition program, including transition, stabilization, and run
Proven ability to work with globally distributed teams and flex hours for time zone overlap
Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher preferred)
U.S. person under ITAR, with working knowledge of export control as it applies to data classification, segregation, and reporting access
Available for hybrid work and client site travel
Candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S.; Dallas, TX preferred
Aerospace and defense or manufacturing industry experience, including program level reporting and earned value data (preferred)
BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or HANA native modeling (calculation views) experience (preferred)
Exposure to cloud data platforms and SAP connectors used to feed them (preferred)
Successful completion of a background investigation required for U.S. employment offers
