About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for LOVB Pro
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Develop financial models and analyses for business planning and strategic decision-making
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions
  • Own workforce cost planning, including headcount and compensation cost modeling
  • Manage player, coach, and staff budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Own weekly rolling cash flow reporting and forecasting
  • Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, business performance, and organizational decisions
  • Support financial reporting and presentations for the Board of Directors and key stakeholders
  • Translate complex financial information into accessible insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • Present unit economics analysis to leadership monthly
  • Support financial controls and adherence to GAAP accounting standards
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Serve as a key contact for external auditors and support audit processes and deliverables
  • Prepare a monthly business reporting package with the prior month's balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and variance analysis
  • Build and improve scalable FP&A processes, tools, reporting, and operating rhythms
  • Support special projects, business analyses, and emerging priorities
  • Partner with the Senior Accounting Manager to refine and audit NetSuite functionality
  • Support the CFO in tracking and improving Finance & Accounting process KPIs
  • Report to the Chief Financial Officer, Pro, and manage the Manager, FP&A Pro

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required
  • 5–10 years of progressive FP&A or related financial experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership, Boards, and other high-value stakeholders
  • Experience supporting growing businesses, new initiatives, or entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial projects
  • Experience working with external auditors
  • Deep knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial controls
  • Strong strategic and business acumen
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executives and other senior stakeholders
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving environment
