About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support an assigned portfolio of LOVB clubs with targeted marketing guidance and hands-on assistance
  • Partner with Club Directors and Regional Club Leaders to identify highest-priority marketing needs
  • Turn needs such as tryouts, registration, camps, clinics, programs, and local events into clear marketing actions
  • Provide hands-on support for selected initiatives, including refining communications, identifying marketing channels, coordinating campaign needs, and reviewing materials
  • Connect clubs with LOVB marketing tools and resources, including templates, toolkits, Sprocket capabilities, landing pages, email resources, paid media programs, and central campaign assets
  • Follow up on agreed-upon priority actions and escalate needs requiring additional capacity or specialized expertise
  • Share recurring club marketing needs, feedback, successful approaches, and opportunities with Youth Marketing and Club Operations
  • Participate in relevant pod or Marketing Success Manager team touch points
  • Communicate capacity constraints, blockers, and emerging priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong general marketing knowledge with the ability to translate business priorities into practical marketing actions
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs and allocate limited time toward the highest-impact opportunities
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with consistent follow-through
  • Ability to assess when hands-on support is needed, when a club can execute independently, and when a need should be escalated
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing, email marketing, local marketing, campaign planning, and marketing communications
  • Ability to learn and guide others in the use of LOVB marketing platforms, tools, templates, and resources
  • Ability to work effectively within limited weekly hours
  • Prior professional experience in marketing, local marketing, account management, client services, club marketing, or a related function required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Experience independently managing multiple stakeholders, accounts, locations, or projects strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting local organizations within a centralized or distributed marketing model preferred
  • Experience in youth sports, club sports, volleyball, or community-based marketing is a plus
  • Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels
  • Ability to work approximately 10 hours per week
  • Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events
