About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage vacancies end-to-end from advertising through offer and start date
  • Build relationships with nursery managers and senior leadership to understand group-wide hiring needs
  • Lead onboarding for every new starter, including DBS checks, references, right to work and qualification verification
  • Ensure onboarding and compliance align with safer recruitment practice
  • Work with recruitment and onboarding systems
  • Contribute to or lead process improvements as the group grows
  • Represent the organisation at recruitment and networking events across London
  • Work closely with nursery managers and their teams
  • Travel regularly to nurseries and the head office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a recruitment role within childcare, education, healthcare, or another highly regulated and high-volume sector is hugely desirable
  • Significant experience in a hiring management role within the same sectors, at a level matching expectations for the role
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including related systems and processes
  • Comfortable working with recruitment and onboarding systems and processes
  • Good understanding of safer recruitment and compliance requirements
  • Confident building relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Happy splitting time between the office and nursery visits
  • Ability to complete or manage DBS checks, references, right to work and qualification verification
