About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide hands-on coaching in soft tissue surgery, including spays, neuters, mass removals, abdominal procedures, dentistry, and extractions
  • Guide associate veterinarians through general practice case workups, diagnostics, and internal medicine management
  • Provide real-time clinical case support
  • Track progress, identify skill gaps, and support measurable improvement in clinical and surgical competencies
  • Travel between hospitals to provide on-site coaching and case support
  • Partner with hospital leadership and the Learning & Development team to prioritize training needs
  • Reinforce the Lovet standard of care across hospitals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Arizona veterinary license in good standing
  • Willingness to be licensed in Illinois and Michigan and other markets as the organization expands
  • Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in general practice
  • Strong proficiency in soft tissue surgery and dentistry
  • Confidence in general practice medicine and internal medicine case management
  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in teaching, mentoring, and coaching others
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned locations
  • 75% travel required
