About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA
  • Assist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders with specific assignments
  • Prepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents
  • Research products and construction methods related to projects
  • Review and process construction administration documents
  • Attend construction meetings and field visits to understand detailing and coordination
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across LPA studios in California and Texas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in all phases of architecture projects
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to building a long-term professional career
  • Preferred: Experience in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must meet the requirement to be in a local studio three times per week
  • LPA uses E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility of new hires
