About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, develop, and execute project documentation and contract administration across all project phases
  • Direct technical project delivery from concept design through construction
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary designers and engineers
  • Collaborate with the Project Designer and Project Manager to realize design visions
  • Oversee schematic design, design development, and construction documents
  • Conduct quality control reviews and research products, materials, and construction methods
  • Lead construction administration and resolve design intent issues on-site
  • Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal team members
  • Mentor junior staff through knowledge-sharing, training, and ongoing support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 10+ years of experience across all phases of architectural projects
  • Active architecture license in California
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design tools
  • Deep understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and architectural detailing
  • Must be able to work in a local studio three times per week
  • Employment eligibility verification through E-Verify
