About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, attract and hire talented people across LPA's disciplines and studios
  • Partner with hiring managers and firm leaders to understand staffing needs, position requirements and successful candidate profiles
  • Support the full recruiting lifecycle, from developing job postings and sourcing candidates through interviews, offers and pre-employment activities
  • Source and engage prospective candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, universities and other recruiting channels
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings
  • Coordinate interviews and create a thoughtful, responsive candidate experience
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs
  • Develop relationships with promising candidates for long-term talent networking
  • Prepare offers, conduct reference checks and support candidates through decision and acceptance
  • Communicate LPA's culture, integrated design practice and employee experience to prospective candidates
  • Track recruiting activity and outcomes
  • Improve recruiting processes, candidate experience and ability to compete for exceptional talent

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to building a long-term professional career
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work closely and communicate with C-suite or Principal level leadership
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience in AEC industry preferred
