About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete the six-month Advisor Licensing Program training in client relationship management, comprehensive financial planning, investment solutions, product implementation, financial markets, and consultative selling
  • Complete training on LPL systems and procedures with tutoring, leadership coaching, and support for obtaining FINRA licenses
  • Pass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 examinations within the first 120 days of employment
  • Achieve training milestones and learning comprehension goals to graduate
  • Provide exceptional client service through incoming service calls, client transactions, reports, forms, emails, and proactive outreach
  • Maintain the operational and compliant management of a 120,000+ client book through proactive check-ins and outreach
  • Collect and analyze client data and develop, implement, review, and maintain financial planning solutions
  • Address education, tax, estate, insurance, and investment allocation concepts with clients
  • Answer questions about account types, investment products, and financial markets
  • Meet goals for asset investment, wallet share consolidation, and relationship deepening
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and support new partnerships and practices
  • Remain in good standing with compliance requirements, assess and mitigate risk, and prevent fraud through security checks and client conversations
  • Graduate with an opportunity to support clients as an Associate Financial Advisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Must pass SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 examinations within the first 120 days of employment
  • Strong collaboration, client focus, and team orientation
  • Excellent communication, listening, and business writing skills
  • High integrity and attention to detail
  • Ability to evaluate and mitigate risk
  • Passion for financial services and client service
  • Organized time management
  • Telephone service and client relationship management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Excellent PC and data input skills
  • Ability to assist customers in a call center environment while accessing data via multiple PC lookup applications
  • SIE preferred or strongly encouraged before start date
  • Prior financial tele-sales, trading, or call center service experience preferred
  • Previous experience as a financial advisor or delivering advice and guidance to retail clients preferred
  • Basic understanding of financial planning concepts, investment markets, and account types
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
