About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Field inbound calls and proactively ask probing questions to offices across the full spectrum of inquiries
  • Research and follow through to resolution on cases created from inbound calls and emails
  • Own complex situations, set expectations, and take appropriate actions to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
  • Initiate outbound calls and emails to third-party sponsors and carriers when needed
  • Support teammates and the department with compensation tasks and activities, including training and staff backup
  • Assist in training new hires and handle complex inquiries received via phone and email
  • Assist with initiatives that improve and enhance the Advisor experience and positively impact LPL
  • Provide consultation to offices and internal business partners regarding commission structures
  • Educate and consult with advisors and their staff on technology use and report issues to increase efficiencies
  • Proactively contact advisors on time regarding sensitive activities such as billing events and tax season preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years in operations or comparable experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with Pivot tables
  • Proven success working in a customer service related field
  • Understanding of the advisor role
  • Organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent phone communication and listening skills, with a focus on understanding each advisor’s unique needs
  • Ability to research and problem solve advisor requests while prioritizing work
  • Experience with talking to advisors over the phone and through email communication
  • NICE phone system experience
  • Experience de-escalating situations with advisors/customers and providing excellent customer service to resolve issues
  • Experience with Oracle and Dynamics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance preferred
  • FINRA license - SIE preferred
