About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Regional Branch Director in leading, managing, and coaching financial advisors/teams within the region
  • Support financial advisors/teams through all phases of their lifecycle, from growth through succession
  • Provide leadership insights and support implementation of frameworks that increase ease of doing business and promote advisor growth and satisfaction
  • Build and sustain deep advisor relationships while maintaining high advisor retention and satisfaction
  • Coach advisors/teams and execute sales strategy to drive regional growth
  • Strategize and execute teaming and succession planning opportunities, including identifying successors and merging teams with similar practices
  • Partner with the sales organization to recruit advisors by educating them on LPL Independent Advisor Network’s mission, vision, and benefits
  • Collaborate with consultants and internal partners to increase awareness and adoption of financial planning, advisory, and high net worth services
  • Help drive growth in Same Store Sales, Net New Assets, and client satisfaction scores (NPS)
  • Support acclimation of new advisors/teams to the LPL Independent Advisor Network
  • Travel frequently to Bedminster, NJ, visit branch offices, and participate in recruit meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 (or ability to obtain within 120 days)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a branch manager, associate complex manager or another field-based sales role
  • Ability to travel visiting branch offices and participating in recruit meetings
  • Track record for successfully bringing on and integrating recruits/new teams
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of how advisors grow and how to support their growth
  • Ability to motivate advisors/teams to drive positive business outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to balance the need to build trust/respect amongst your advisors with the need to maintain the integrity of LPL Advisor Networks
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills; capable of assessing complex problems, prioritizing key issues and focusing on relevant facts while maintaining a strong execution focus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Executive presence with a demonstrated ability to lead change and influence at all levels
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services and/or wealth management industry (preferred)
  • Series 9/10 or 24 (preferred)
