About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the growing employee advisor channel by providing HR Business Partner support across Linsco and L&S business lines
  • Support people leaders managing financial advisors in various geographic locations and home office employees
  • Implement comprehensive People programs, policies, and practices supporting business plans
  • Support leadership development, workforce planning, compensation, talent management, change management, employee engagement, retention, professional development, culture, and diversity initiatives
  • Manage performance management for assigned business units with people managers and Employee Relations
  • Provide direct support to employees and business leaders with People questions and creative problem solving
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams with People and corporate partners
  • Facilitate improvements to HR policies, benefits, initiatives, and processes
  • Provide overall People support for business-as-usual matters
  • Develop creative and innovative solutions to complex business problems
  • Prepare and maintain materials supporting initiatives across the client group
  • Develop methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects with Workforce Analytics and other partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of professional and progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Experience partnering effectively across People teams, including talent acquisition, learning & development, payroll and HR Systems
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including compliance and legal
  • Proficient in HR Generalist skills such as Employee Relations, Talent Development, and Project Management
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Proficient in Human Resource Management Systems
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times related to advisor and employee matters
  • Strong customer service and employee experience focus
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple priorities, work independently and as a team in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Organized, self-motivated, and strong time management skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Comfortable learning, navigating and leveraging Workday, Smartsheet and Copilot
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working within the financial services industry preferred
