About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as product owner for the Personalization and Business Configurator product in Advisor Experience
Act as subject matter expert on users and their needs through customer interviews, product analytics, feedback sessions, and internal partner insights
Define the mid-term technology product development roadmap, key features, and capabilities
Manage development cycles with clear schedules, deliverables, and milestones
Develop and monitor product and feature success metrics
Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements
Maintain alignment across the firm on vision, strategy, and performance goals
Work with Product Management to maintain product vision, roadmap, growth opportunities, and backlog based on business value or ROI
Lead product release planning and set delivery expectations using PI roadmaps
Mitigate impediments affecting Release and Sprint Goals
Set direction for Agile development teams and stakeholders and facilitate requirements
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes
Manage the backlog, plan iterations, and elaborate user stories
Research and analyze the market, users, and product roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years hands-on experience with business & systems requirements processes
5-7 years of product owner experience or relevant business work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field
3-5 years of experience in financial services or wealth management
Demonstrated experience as Product Lead, Manager, or Owner
Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Comfort working in rapidly changing and ambiguous situations
Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Exceptional customer focus with a strong bias for action
Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
Collaborative team player
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Broker dealer, investment bank, or RIA product experience preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Experience in Fintech and/or Financial Services
