About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate directly with advisors and clients, own inquiries, and resolve them timely
- Address questions regarding account activity, policies, and documentation
- Conduct proactive outreach regarding RMDs, distributions, and tax forms
- Submit account activity instructions for new accounts, cash management, transfers, account maintenance, and trade orders
- Research complex situations, set client expectations, define resolutions, and collaborate with internal departments
- Educate clients and advisors on account services, capabilities, and technologies including eSignature, paperless statements, and Account View
- Share best practices, support peer development, and participate in assigned projects
- Manage operational reports for cash management, RMDs, distributions, debits, and pending settlements
- Manage and complete project work, including linking annuities
- Help reduce operating costs through technology adoption and reduced NIGOs
- Cover PTO requests of offices with peers
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and prepare client meeting materials when requested
- Maintain client information in Redtail and/or Wealthbox CRMs
- Complete expense reports for financial advisors when requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in wealth management
- SIE, Series 7 and 66 licensed
- Strong background in client service with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a remote environment
- Ability to support advisors with occasional travel (approximately once per year)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective oral and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners
- Problem-solving abilities
- Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
