About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define and analyze complex business problems
  • Provide recommendations and configure solutions leveraging Workday capabilities
  • Provide secondary support to other HR systems
  • Understand customer needs, document requirements, and deliver tailored Workday solutions
  • Manage workflow using an agile approach
  • Maintain backlogs and manage projects
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and job-aid documentation
  • Train business partners on new processes and functionality
  • Train new administrators on general system processes
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and support reports and queries
  • Assist in developing standard reports for ongoing customer needs
  • Maintain system data integrity by running queries and analyzing data
  • Monitor HRIS trends, product and service development, AI enhancements, delivery, support, and key technologies
  • Participate in HRIS user group meetings and conferences
  • Assist with other HR systems and projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Workday in 3 modules/areas, including hands-on configuration
  • Proficient in Workday Reporting
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • High level of technical aptitude
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve
  • Intense desire for constant learning and process improvement
  • Passion for customer service and satisfaction
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Strong business acumen with a basic understanding of HR and Payroll business processes and operations
  • Experience with Workday integrations and security (preferred)
