About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and execute OPMG processes related to trading and day-to-day maintenance of centrally managed platforms
Ensure accounts are managed in line with selected investment strategies
Review, approve, and upload model security portfolios submitted by investment managers and strategists
Review and approve large trades
Research complex situations and define necessary resolution actions
Serve as subject matter expert on operational policies and procedures for a centrally managed platform
Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Support leadership on multiple overlapping projects
Test and implement projects
Mine and analyze internal data sets and build reports for stakeholders
Act as a primary contact between OPMG and external/internal business partners
Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports for LPL Leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Series 7 and 65 (or 66) licenses
3+ years of experience working in the financial industry and/or processing in a high volume and deadline-driven environment
1+ years of service-oriented experience working with clients, other firms, service team, offshore partners, and various business units
Effective team player
Ability to handle escalated items timely and accurately
Ability to collaborate across departments and in meetings to implement or support ongoing processes and projects
Client-first customer service-oriented mindset from a financial background
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written abilities
Highly analytical, productive, and accurate; capable of achieving results under time constraints
Proficient in BETA
Proficient in Vestmark
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience with Excel Macro (Visual Basic)
Business process improvement experience
Bachelor's degree listed as a preference
