About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with building and testing email marketing campaigns
  • Manage email template creation and analytics setup
  • Develop communications that nurture alumni relationships, boost engagement, and drive donor retention
  • Create on-brand visual assets for email, social media, digital displays, and print materials
  • Adhere to university brand guidelines
  • Organize and maintain the digital asset library
  • Collaborate with alumni, admissions, fundraising, and other stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of email marketing and/or graphic design experience
  • Proficiency with email marketing and automation tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience learning and navigating email marketing platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM (preferred)
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud (preferred)
  • Experience with digital communications (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams / Zoom
  • Proficiency with SharePoint / cloud-based platforms
  • Experience with a mass email marketing platform
  • Canva or another graphic design tool (strongly preferred)
  • Strong organizational, proofreading, quality assurance, time management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, adaptability, initiative, proactivity, dependability, and ownership skills
