Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and scale index platforms used by global financial institutions
  • Develop backend code in C# .NET and cloud-native architectures
  • Create responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with big data systems and SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL databases
  • Partner with global teams to define solutions across cloud, data, and analytics
  • Analyze production problems and provide troubleshooting and support
  • Work with upstream and downstream development teams to implement functionality
  • Collaborate with QA teams to design test cases and implement automated test drivers
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold software design, development, quality, and security standards through agile methodologies
  • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in UI development for business-critical applications using Angular 8 or above, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and C#
  • Exposure to AWS services
  • Experience with C# .NET, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Glue, EKS, SQS, and SNS
  • Experience with testing tools including MSTest, tSQLt, Cucumber, and Mocha
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform
  • Ability to troubleshoot production problems
  • Ability to work with QA teams on test cases and automated test drivers
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and time management skills
