About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business, operations, risk and technology stakeholders to define strategic objectives, business requirements and delivery outcomes
- Analyse business processes, operating models, systems and data flows to identify optimisation and transformation opportunities
- Lead requirements workshops, process mapping, user story development and acceptance criteria definition
- Ensure business requirements are traceable through design, testing and implementation
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives from discovery through implementation
- Develop delivery plans, manage dependencies, risks, issues and delivery challenges
- Monitor progress and ensure successful execution of programme commitments
- Champion Agile delivery approaches and select appropriate methodologies
- Advise business and technology stakeholders and facilitate alignment across teams
- Provide communication and regular reporting to programme leadership and senior stakeholders
- Manage, coach and develop Business Analysts and delivery professionals
- Support career development, succession planning and capability building
- Allocate resources effectively across programme and organisational priorities
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering and product teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Support delivery of Financial Crime technology capabilities including onboarding, KYC, CDD, screening, monitoring and reporting solutions
- Ensure solutions align with governance, security, data and regulatory requirements
- Promote continuous improvement and standard methodologies
- Define information requirements and reporting solutions with data, reporting and engineering teams
- Support management information, operational insights and performance reporting
- Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across delivered solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience leading business analysis and technology delivery within Financial Services, Risk, Compliance or Financial Crime domains
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives
- Experience leading and developing teams in a people management capacity
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across business, operations and technology organisations
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Financial Crime processes including KYC, Customer Due Diligence, Sanctions Screening and Transaction Monitoring
- Excellent business analysis, process improvement and requirements management capabilities
- Strong project and delivery management experience, including planning, dependency management and governance
- Ability to simplify complex problems and translate business needs into practical technology solutions
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
- Knowledge of enterprise technologies, data platforms, workflow solutions and system integrations
- Experience delivering Financial Crime technology platforms and in-house-built solutions around customer onboarding
- Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Project Management or Product Management preferred
- Experience working across global teams and multiple time zones preferred
