Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years' experience in healthcare, care coordination, medical office operations, patient navigation, or a related healthcare support role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, referrals, medical records management, and patient support processes
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and healthcare technology platforms
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment, including specified criminal, employment, education, sanctions, watchlist, and drug-screen checks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
  • High-speed internet service with minimum download speed of 20 Mbps, upload speed of 5 Mbps, and maximum latency of 100 milliseconds, installed before starting
  • Quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls
  • Ability to remain stationary and seated for long periods, communicate, inspect information, perform repetitive motions, interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, organize and plan, and maintain a positive and professional attitude
