About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, aligning financial models with strategic business objectives
Collaborate with departments to gather input and ensure consistency across budgets
Develop and maintain financial models to project performance and assess scenarios
Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions for revenue, productivity, and cost optimization
Create monthly and quarterly financial forecasts using market trends, sales projections, and operational data
Analyze revenue, margins, and profitability to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities
Develop internal and external benchmarks to drive efficiency and productivity
Provide variance analysis and ad hoc financial reports
Act as the primary finance business partner for Sales, Marketing, and Operations
Support decision-making and evaluate business cases with business leaders
Design and implement MIS reports, dashboards, and financial KPI frameworks
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior management
Support strategic planning through financial modeling and analysis for growth initiatives, M&A opportunities, and market expansions
Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
Work on investor queries and due diligence requirements
Establish budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting structures, KPI definitions, and data sources during the first 90–120 days
Clean and consolidate data sources and establish periodic financial reporting cadence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
6-8 years of FP&A experience, preferably with top multinational companies
Proven experience in business partnering with cross-functional teams
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (NetSuite, Power BI, Hyperion, Adaptive Planning)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience working in multi-geographic environments with diverse reporting systems
SaaS or technology industry experience is a plus
Fluent in English
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
